Today I participated in one of the larger Komen Race For The Cure events in Des Moines, Iowa. I completed the 5k race in celebration of a friend surviving cancer this year. I just wanted to take a couple minutes to thank the participants, volunteers, and organizers of the event. It is truly amazing to see 24,500 people in one place supporting a great cause.
