I am facing the same problem...but using win 7 ultimate 32bit..on machine AMD quite ok for first time...then i tried to reinstall again...now its stuck on Setup is Starting...even after boot win logo it hang on blank screen for 30++ mins...then it get slow...the i decided to runn Ubuntu on that machine...it was ok running gud....then tried again Win 7...having the same thing...hangs...tried disable everything that mentioned by every person b4 ...but still nothing happen ...FDD, USB,,hypertransport....my master is IDE then my SATA is 2nd drive on Slot SATA 4.. no budget for new machine...huhuhu hello friends..
