Windows Live Movie Maker Now Available

Movie Maker Live was released today. The announcement was made by Brian Hall on the Windows Live Team Blog. Movie Maker was a solid product before and with the latest version it will only be better. The new version has more ways to easily customize you video. There is also a feature that will auto create your video for you after you add your pictures or videos. The latest version also allows you to easily share your video on sites like You Tube and Facebook. The other key feature is that this version will work with Windows 7. Last Chance To Download Windows 7 RC

I just wanted to post a quick reminder that Microsoft will be taking down the Windows 7 release candidate from their website on August 20th. So if you want a free way to evaluate Windows 7 you will have to get it downloaded in the next couple of days. The latest release candidate is good until March 1, 2010 and they automatic shutdowns do not start until June 1, 2010.

Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Launch Event

Microsoft has released the cities they will be holding the Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 launch event at. The event will also include Exchange 2010. The best thing about the launch event is that you will receive a copy of the Windows 7. You should sign up as soon as possible as I know some of the cities will fill up fast. I personally do plan on attending even though I will have to travel several hours to reach one of the cities. I will try to post more as I read about the event when it kicks of its first round on September 24th.
