If you did not have a chance to join the virtual user group Marco Shaw has posted the video’s online. I would like to personally thank all of the participants for taking time out of their day to present to the group. There were several interesting topics covered. I can’t wait for next meeting.

I am a huge fan of Gmail, but one of the downfalls up to this point is you could not access email offline. Gmail labs has come to the rescue again as they have started to roll out offline Gmail. You will have to enable this feature when it is available for your account. Gmail is actually using Gears in the background to cache your email locally. When your browser looses connection to the internet it will revert to your cached account instead of showing nothing. The one thing to remember is that this feature is very experimental so don’t be surprised if you run into some issues.

Microsoft has recently released Internet Explorer 8 Release Candidate. One of the nice features in this release is that you do not have to uninstall previous versions of Internet Explorer 8. Also if you have the beta installed you can just wait for the new version to come through windows update. On a side note there is not a version for Windows 7 at this time. You can download it by going to windows download and searching for Internet Explorer 8.
